Baby Shower Tea

"A daughter is a little girl who grows up to be your friend". 

I absolutely believe this to be true in my own life. My mom is my best friend and I am so thankful for her. Now that I have my own daughters, I pray that they will be my friends when they are grown. Speaking of friends, it was an honor to shower my dear friend Britney as we celebrated the arrival of her sweet baby girl, Juliet Nicole.  Hosted by friends and family, Britney was surrounded by people who love her. Guests hand typed words of encouragement and memories of Britney to put in her baby book. Lunch was beautifully displayed  with scones, lemon curd, cream and tea sandwiches served on mismatched china. My mom made a beautiful fabric banner which paired perfectly with our baby carriage filled with presents. It was a wonderful day and I'm excited to say that Britney had her baby girl yesterday (december 4th)! Congratulations Britney, may your home be filled with love and joy as you raise your sweet children.

 There is much anticipation and hope for your future at 18! With the world at your fingertips, your ready to take flight!  Friends gathered to celebrate Hannah's 18th birthday in style! We loved to whole vibe of this swanky, sophisticated 18th birthday soiree! there was live music as everyone laughed and enjoyed good food! Kimberly Downey did a great job styling the party to create a fresh clean look that paired perfectly with our vintage items. Thanks for including us Hannah! We were thrilled to be a part of your special day! May all your dreams come true as you embark on adulthood!

Aqua nest baby shower

A child is the greatest gift a mother can ever behold. Brielle was showered with love by her family and friends to celebrate the much anticipated arrival of her sweet baby boy! A little boy loves his mommy with an unending adoration and affection, with which words cannot express. The "Enchanted Garden Vintage Style" theme was precious and perfectly achieved with the help of an inspiration board made by Cheryl, Brielle's mother. Inspiration boards are such a great way to make your vision a reality. We loved everything about this shower; from our deep aqua mason jars and milk bottles for lemonade, to the 3 tiered stand for favors lined with moss and our baby buggy! We were honored to be a part of Brielle's special day and wish her much joy and many blessings as she starts this next chapter as a mom! Congratulations!

Row Boat

 Row, row, row, your boat gently down the party aisle! There is something about a boat for two that captures my romantic heart. I have fond memories of Central Park on a row boat in the middle of nature among skyscraper skies! Let your imagination go wild with the endless possibilities, from the obvious beach wedding, to the perfect "picture booth" spot with nautical accessories, or a "winnie the pooh" baby shower. Church Pews

We are so excited about one of our newest finds! We absolutely fell in love with these pews from an old church.  Transplanting church pews to the outdoors creates a beautiful, nostalgic, fresh perspective on traditional! There is nothing more breath taking than a bride walking down the aisle along antique pews in the middle of a vineyard.Whatever your vision, be it garden, ocean, or backyard wedding, these pews are the perfect elegant touch with their history and beauty. vintage Bridal Shower

      Bridal showers are a sweet celebration of love. We were honored to add elegant details for Kelsey's special day. Each person brought a favorite recipe to share with the bride and to go along with the recipe theme, everyone left with rosemary infused sea salts. The place settings adorned our vintage brooch napkin rings adding unique charm and pedestal milk glass bowls filled with hydrangeas cascaded down the center of the tables. Our hankie banner was used as a table runner! It's fun to see how people use our items in different ways. Kelsey was surrounded by family and friends, excited for the day that Kelsey and Aaron say 

"I DO"!  

                            

   

Orcutt ranch vintage wedding

It was the perfect day to marry your best friend.  A warm southern California summer's eve was the setting for this wonderful celebration at Orcutt Ranch. Chelsea and Josh were surrounded by their family and friends as they vowed to each other, and God, their commitment of marriage. The 1920's house and garden was a beautiful backdrop for Chelsea's vintage inspired accessories.  We had the privilege of being a part if their special day along side Lei-Ann from Happy Flowers, to create an intimate and romantic ambiance. We especially loved our new handcrafted cake stand made of old ceiling tiles adorned by a flawless cake and perfectly placed flowers.

vintage typewriter

 I remember being a little girl, sitting in my grandpa's office typing away on his typewriter. I loved plucking the keys, writing little stories and using whiteout every two seconds! I have so many fond memories with my grandpa he was a technology guru who loved to teach me. I haven't typed in a long time ... that is until I found this beauty.  We are excited to share our new typewriters with you. They are adorable for a sign-in table at a wedding, anniversary party or even words of advice for the new mommy to be.   

I love milk glass! We have found so many beautiful pieces for events. I love the idea of a candy bar with all milk glass bowls overflowing with yummy treats as well as pedestal bowls filled with fresh flowers for centerpieces! We had the privilege to provide the ambiance for Kendal's 13th birthday blessing tea. A blessing tea is a coming of age celebration where beloved women affirm, encourage and advise the birthday girl about the upcoming stage of life. Kendal's blessing 
tea was a beautiful expression of femininity and elegance. She hand picked our vintage mismatched china, cake stands and details 
that made it so pretty! We loved her thoughtful heart - she's beautiful inside and out!
